The A10, with T?E?N technology, is the longest ball on tour. T?E?N (Tungsten Encased Nucleus) is a weight distribution system that redistributes weight outward, from the solid core to the cover. The middle layer is filled with a tungsten compound, a heavy metal, which moves the weight from center towards the cover. This reduces the "spin decay rate" of the ball. That means the ball spins longer, not more. If you can keep a ball spinning longer, then you can keep it in the air longer. The longer a ball spins, the longer it takes for gravity to take effect. This reduced rate of spin decay keeps the ball airborne longer, and therefore it gets more carry, and distance.
