Disapointing for Luke Donald
Submitted by antony on Mon, 04/16/2012 - 08:49Luke Donald concluded a disappointing week at the RBC Heritage with an even-par 71 on Sunday which means that Rory McIlroy will move to the number one spot when the new world rankings are released on Monday. Sweden's Carl Pettersson won the RBC Heritage in South Carolina by a convincing five shots.
Donald said. "Obviously, I'd have liked to have played a bit more consistently this year. I built it up nicely last year through tournaments and winning a bunch. As a result, there's a little bit of fluctuation in the world rankings now."

At the end of the first day it was English Lee Westwood who headed the pack with a five-under-par 67 to take the lead going into the second round.

Submitted by antony on Thu, 03/22/2012 - 23:25Tiger Woods three behind at Bay Hill with no body parts broken. Woods, a six-time champion at Bay Hill, shot a 69 and was three behind Charlie Wi. The last time Woods played on the PGA Tour, he was driven away in a golf cart after withdrawing in the middle of the final round at Doral with problems with his left Achilles tendon.
There was nothing particularly special about this round that Woods can bring out of the bag, apart for a 30-foot birdie putt on the 15th. There also a couple of three-putt bogeys that kept his score from being lower.
